Just bought my first 7 string.
Hello,
As this is my first post so let me start off my saying hello to everyone.That said, I just bought my first 7 string the other day. It's a Schecter Hellraiser, and it sounds and plays great. My only complaint is that the low B is starting to buzz a little. The weather the past few days has been brutally humid so that might have something to do with it. Anyways, I'd like to get the buzzing taken care of so you could any of you fellow Hellraiser owners spare some advice? I would be especially interested in knowing what string gauges are working for you and what aren't. I'm playing metal, the slow and grinding variety (think Celtic Frost) so sustain is my biggest concern. Also, I'm not really tech saavy so please keep any answers you choose to give as simple as possible. I've just got back into playing so I have a ton of catching up to do.

Sounds like you could do with a bit more relief in your neck or a slightly higher action. Have a good read of the tech articles here
