I didn't say anything BAD about his work, I just said I wasn't sure if Jim made any models that were geared towards metal. To my knowledge most of his guitars are geared towards jazz and blues guys. Besides, I've enjoyed his work since the days he was posting on TGP, so booyah!

Sherman was actually my first choice when I saw his work. I got in touch with him a month ago, expressed my interest, sent in my specs. I was -really- excited about working with him but so far he hasn't communicated very well with me and the order doesn't seem near being quoted or finalized. I'm hoping its just because he's been busy, so maybe something will come of it yet.
