Nah, rammsteins early works were E standard, then the moved into drop D using drop C on mein hertz brent (mutter), then on reise, reise and rosenrot they tuned dropped C fulltime.


Reise, reise (the song) is in the key of C#, and on the chorus/intro they will from a I to a VII, which they have to play on the 4th and 5th strings, where in B, you can use the open B5 chord. Plus its cool to be able to run through a bands entire catalogue without changing tunings.



And for people suggesting, he did mention easy songs. Carcass, at the gates, amon amarth (pretty much all mellodic death ) use B standard. Some of dream theaters stuff is pretty easy. Lie is a good one, riffs aren't too hard, and the solo isn't either if you have a firm grasp of legato.
