Kahn, I dont have time to post the link right now, but if you go to jemsite and find the RG7CT details... there is a link on the bottom of the column that says "specs" that has all the information for the guitar. You pretty much have it summed up with the exception of the obvious AAJN. Good luck.

For Sale:

Ibanez RG7CT w/ UV case - $1800 plus ship/paypal

2008 PRS Custom 24 10 Top w/ case - $2200 plus ship/paypal

PM me for more information
No trades please

Isnt the body on an XL ibby a little different than a 25.5? I thought the bridge was routed a little bit lower, as well as the pup cavities.

my girlfriend says i'm totally METAL!

well thats why i started this post, cuz i wanted to make sure that there WAS nothing different about it, so if anyone can provide me with some hard evidence that it IS in fact a different body, PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I want Chris to have all the information possible for me to make an easy swap.

They are different!!! The neck is set slightly deeper into the body and the trem is set slightly further back than on a standard RG7. Hence, the parts are not interchangable.

Cheers

The bridge placement is probably different on the longer scale, so basically when you contact him inform him it's a replacement body for a 1077XL. Worst case is he'd have you send the original body to match.

Oh and since he's backed up odds are he won't finish it for you, but you can always get the body and then send it to someone else for the finish, for example The Original & Official Sims Custom Shop est 1981

Your best bet to get some real information would be to actually send an email to sales@christopherwoods.com or call them and explain what you want and see if they're willing to do it

UPDATE:
I just got the phone with Tony and tlaked to him about my idea and he said that he would have to talk to Chris to get his schedule from him, but he sazid they'd have no problem making me just the body (which i told him was all that i wanted), he'd just have to check with Chris. He told me that it was probably the best idea to just send them the guitar so that they can be EXTREMELY precise with it, and test it out before sending it off to me, so now i am just too damn excited!!! I just gotta shoot an email off to him with pics of my guitar and the picture above in this thread so they know what to make it look like. God I cant wait!!!! A mahogany bodied baritone FTW!!!!
