I liked the way the HR played but I didn't like the knob configuration like I did on the Blackjack which IMO is a better guitar. I just like the Blackjack alot. But of course i'd say get an Ibanez 7621 or 7421 (XL too).

CasualFitzy is a jewel in the rough
I'm also looking for my first 7 string and I fell in love with the Hellraiser. The only thing really keeping me back is the lack of a FR...the Loomis sig would be perfect but it's out of my price range.

$1299 is MSRP

I'm assuming he's going to want to mass produce these rack pies, and why not? I love racks, I love pies, so put them together and you have pie covered titties. - JJ

I'd go with a Blackjack.

Fender Standard Telecaster w/ Dimarzio ToneZone(bridge)
Schecter C-7 Blackjack w/ '59(neck) and JB(bridge)
Sigma Acoustic (CGCEGC)
Line6 Flextone III XL

My acoustic stuff

Out of curiosity, what's so great about the Blackjack?

Alright, a few more questions.

How does the neck on the Hellraiser compare to other necks in the price range mentioned?

In your opinion, should I wait & save up (is the $1500 range more workable)?
