Question on changing pickups
Im planning to change my pickup from old crappy EMG-HZ TO EMG 707, so just wondering how hard is to install that thing on my esp h-307, Do i need it to bring to the guitar shop to set it up, or i can it myself without any hassle? Thanks

Those pickups should be straight swap outs but for the internal electronics you will need to find a place for the 9V battery that the 707 will need. Unless you can cram in your cavity, you will have to get someone to route a place for it.

it all depends on how comfortable you are with your soldering skills. Do you feel like you can handle it yourself? Or would you rather have somebody experienced handle it for you?

Check your pot values as well, I do not know that HZ do or do not use the same pot values as full on EMG.

Not the same pots. you'll also need to change the jack socket.
