What's your favorite 7-string gauges/string brand?
on my seven string, i prefer either d'addario (or however it's spelled), but lately, i've been using ernie ball. i like to use the standard 10-52 set, and add the 70 bass string for the 7th. though, i'm thinking next time i'll put a 64 there instead. i only tune down a half step after all and a 70 is almost pushing it.

Sorry to tell you this, but if you do a search ("string gauge" in the title only), you'll find at least 25 threads discussing the subject.

I use a set of hybrid slinkies (9-46) paired with a stainless steel 56 for the low B,

D'Addario standard 7-string 9's pack. tuned standard.
I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

I've got my H-207 in drop-B at the moment, D'addario 10 set + 64 gauge EB string.

I used ernie balls for almost 2 years, but now, D'Addario strings are my brand of choice. They are some of the best strings out there.
