What's your favorite 7-string gauges/string brand?

I tune my 7-string 1 step down usually. Sometimes I use G and then rest of the strings are in Dropped C.

Since local shops don't carry sets for sevens, I get a set of D'Addario XL 10's and a D'Addario .56 seperate. My seven never goes lower than half step unless for some reason I need to drop Ab.

Actually my RG1527 has 10-68's and I love them but I just got my J. Custom and the 9's are so ridiculously good! I started on 10's and only went higher! I never thought of going down a guage.

So from now on I will be using 9's on my guitars.

So far GHS is doing great. I like Ernie Ball and D'Addario too, and would like to try DR some time.

I'm using 0.09-0.58 right now and I like the sound. Gives me a nice definition on each range.

Tuned a step down. That'd be D-A-F-C-G-D-A.
