That's a pretty big assumption since we have absolutely no info here. It's also possible that he screwed up the specs, it could be a communication error between him and the guy building them, it could be any number of things.

I hope this whole ordeal doesnt damage Rondo's credibility on my behalf. i mean, sure, they made a mistake, but the service was good, and they took it back, no questions asked. So i mean, there's that. They're a solid company, but he, first run issues, you know?

Nah, everyone seems to be keeping a relatively open mind about it. Did you ever find out where the error showed up? Like, if it was a mistake in the design of the prototype, or the manufacturer missing that part of the spec list?

Might i also add...it looks like a Schecter but with a Much cooler and needed Headstock...and reverse is the Shit !!!!! My only gripe about schecters I hate the headstocks....this is a killer looking guitar but 27' would be a major selling point !!!

Nah, i didnt. I guess it isnt my problem. I would assume it was a factory issue. If i remember right, the original red prototype Kurt showed looked to have a rather long neck. So maybe somewhere along the line, they produced them w/ the normal scale by accident when doing the production models or something. Hell if i know, thats just my guess.

True, so any problems will be fixed. But if he had a 27"-scale prototype already, how did it get accidentally switched to 25.5"-scale?

Well, look guys. I ordered a Floyd model this week and should have it here by Thursday. I'll give you a full review after I spend some time with it.

As eleven59 said, "maybe he's waiting to clear up the problems with the manufacturers before filling us in." There's no need to jump on this negative bandwagon & begin ASSuming things about Kurt. Remember, the first batch are prototypes which means these are in the developing stages. How many other companies would offer up prototypes to buyers, much less, actually listening and building a guitar based upon our requests? Be thankful that you have someone like that in our corner.
