Yeah me too. It seems most of the Tech metal guys prefer super strats.

My first 7's going to be a Universe, better be neon green, or multi-color. I hope to God Ibanez makes a nice UV next year. Whens the UV up for it's 20th? Next year?

Partially, but also because, from a playability standpoint, the Strat shape is a good "middle ground" to start with.
