Sooo..Hellraiser?

I'm really really getting close to obtaining a Schecter Hellraiser 7, just making sure that there aren't any huge cons to this guitar.

Oh and I'm definitely getting it in black cherry. Hellraiser owners, feel free to show off pics.

Apart from the fact it is made by Schecter, there really aren't any.

No cons. Go get it. Now...! ;-) I can only speak for myself, it's the perfect tool for me. She stays in tune (ANYTIME. Promise. Even in extremely humid and hot environments, gigged through without having to retune.), she plays perfect and sounds great. Just switched the bridge PU to an 81-7, but i guess that's a matter of taste. Love my girrrrl. Oh, and Pic:

The Hellraiser is great, the QC if amazing for an import. Just make sure you're OK with the relatively thick neck and the lack of a Floyd, which are the only aspects of it that people don't like about it. And the pickups as mentioned above.

Thanks for the replies guys!

So far nothing that's making me change my mind..

About the pickups- I've never had EMGs in a guitar before, but I've heard them, and I don't mind the sound like some people seem to. Would they be decent for cleans? I don't really think I'd be using the Hellraiser for much other than metal anyways.

About the neck- I have a Schecter already (C-1 Blackjack) so I don't think it'll be a problem.

EMGs are good for metal-style cleans, but I don't think they'd work so well for blues music.

IBZ Addict is a jewel in the rough
If you're used to Ibanez necks, then the Schecter would be a bit of a surprise. I go back and forth between my 7620's and my Hellraiser without a problem. I actually prefer the Hellraiser neck feel, although I am not a fan of the painted neck.

The EMG's are great, at least for me. They are good for clean or dirty sounds, although compared to some passive pickups can be called a little bit cold or sterile sounding.

I liked absolutely everything about my Hellraiser aside from one thing. The fit/finish was great, loved the neck, loved the scale, loved the tone of the 707 in the bridge but the 707 in the neck was just not for me, which is why I sold it.

I didn't care for the clean tones compared to passives (blazes especially) but it was passable. No good for blues though.
