Help bring back a 27" scale Ibanez seven string?

So with the recent generosity Ibanez has given us ERG players with the S7320 and the eight string, I thought I'd start up a movement to hopefully grab Ibanez's attention to produce seven strings with a 27" scale again.

With an insightfull discussion here on ss.org as well as the Ibanez forum, hopefully we could get them to at least consider an extended scale seven. (With reversed headstocks of course! )

How many of you guys would be interested? I know I'd be the first in line!

Thread's here @ Ibanez forum.

Sure would be nice to see an intermediate model with a 27" scale...like an RG7621XL or something like that for around a grand or so. But then we did just get promised an eight string with a 27" scale...so it'd be nice if that just came out.

I'm waiting for someone to post a big explanation as to why Ibanez hates us and why we don't matter and they won't listen...

...there is always one.

i say go for some sort of RG 7321 XL... like a fixed bridge RG 7-string, with 27´´scale (and reverse headstock!)

and it needs to come in a weathered black finish... rather that than the plain black that 90% of their guitars seem to have these days :P

That's so true. Then I guess I'll have to post pictures of the 8, and s7320

I was waiting for the "People still play those?" guy

I definitely agree with that, as we all like to upgrade our stuff anyways, they should give us something bare bones and let us make our changes But a reversed headstock is a must!

Plus you could put a piezo in one of those! I wouldnt mind a trem either though.

What about a double edge with XL and a maple fretboard? Like RG2127XXLVV Starts looking like roman numerals.

I dont know what any of that means (besides the maple board), bostjan, but it sounds good. Might as well go big if you're gonna go, yeah?
