That's an amazing idea, first because it will be a cheap/not expensive guitar, with good woods, etc.

It will be sweet to see again the XL series.

Lazarus FTW!

I actually want a piezo equipped 7 more than anything else - we already have the RG7EXFX and the RG7EXFX2 available in Japan at least at 27" - but nothing with piezos

Have to say I agree with the piezo desire... And graphtech still haven't done anything useful for floyds...

I dunno but I really get the impression Ibanez doesn't give a flying fuck what people actually want and just put out lots of guitars with basswood bodies, firmly refuse to put ebony fretboards on anything short of a custom, and just do their own thing.

most companies are like that, they say they do "market research" and it's like "who the fuck were they asking what they wanted?" Happens all the time on the ESP forum, they gave use a regular V after mustaine left which is what we wanted, but some of the other models are just like wtf...we don't want that shit

a 26,5" / 27" 7620 XL neckthrough with a bridge x2n7 and a standard sunburst finish, that would make me cream my jeans!

(inspired by this custom job)
The Ibanez Forum: LA Custom shop 7 string!

id be overjoyed by a erg ibanez top quality 7 tho.

maybe they stopped cus they are affected by trends and stuff over in japan or something?

Eat Shit. Billions of flies can't be wrong.

I would love to have a 27 scale fixed bridge, with another color other than black.
