US-Made 7 strings...

...not to be a snob, but I thought I'd try to generate a list of all the US-made 7 string models out there be they out of production, or currently in production.

Hmm, that last one will probably be a little empty.

We should probably also throw in custom shops that are known to make 7 strings, like Jackson, BC Rich or KXK.

So, I'll start things off.

Washburn made the Sonic 7 series for at least two years as production guitars.

Brian Moore made the C-55-7 for at least a year as a production guitar.

Music Man makes the JP-7, currently in production.

Schecter makes the Sunset and Avenger 7s as "custom production" models - they're basically standard models, but they don't make them until someone orders one.

Anyone know of any others? Or of any custom builders not already listed?

LGM makes the Levithan,
and i see an ESP (not LTD) Steph Carpenter 7 on ebay now and then.

Wayne Custom 7, by Wayne (Charvel) guitars. however if more than one was made, it was very, very limited.

Sadly, this won't take long. Isn't Solloway (SP?) making them too?

The Leviiathan is made in Canada, and the ESP Stephen Carpenter model is made in Japan, is it not?

Not too many *production* sevens are being made these days, particularly in the U.S. Most of what you'll find are from boutique builders, like the Soloway LN7.

Carvin and Ernie Ball/Music Man are the main two "big" U.S. builders i can think of that are currently making 7-strings, though both are pretty much only built to order.

Yep, the Carpenter's Japanese. I forgot Soloway, too - Jim's 7 is a "production" model, like Carvin and EBMM, even if you have to order it - unlike, say, Jackson, where it's a total custom order.
