I plugged the guitar into the amp and knelled down before it to adjust the settings. Then when I stood up the guitar cable had sneaked under my foot and was forcefully pulled out of the guitar, the fun part is that the entire jack input followed along with it.
also, when recording, I constantly bang my instruments against the mixertable. |

No major damages here, fortunately.
![]() I've knocked one of my guitars into its hardcase a couple of times, leaving some chips. ![]() Once, I was swinging around with a cable and dropped the tip straight into the top of my RGA, leaving an embarrassing dent. ![]() |

Back in the summer of 1999, I had my RG 7620 equipped with a DiMarzio cliplock strap and it went flying, the strap screw ripped a gouge out of my upper horn and the guitar fell to the floor of the stage. I later fixed it by putting the original strap buttons back and used epoxy. Since then, i've never used those straps. still have the guitar too. It's at Donnie's being refinished.

A couple of months ago, I was restringing my DK2M, and I was locking the high E in at the bridge. I somehow, without noticing, tightened the finetuner so tight that the nut on top of the screw had snapped off, leaving the threaded part of the screw stuck in the saddle. This resulted in having to replace the whole saddle, not to mention waiting 2 weeks for it to come. It makes me feel like an idiot.

Thanks. Actually, right after it happened, I fixed it as I posted earlier and since then, no problem. Only downside is the strap button is in there for good and it's not coming out, ever. That epoxy held it in there quite well. Now, when I had it refinished the first time, (5 years ago), I taped it. I trust Donnie will do the same when he goes to refinish it.

i stupidly lent my jem to a ''mate'',who needed a second guitar for a show.i didnt see him till 2 days after the show when he stopped by home to return it to me .he was very nervous and wanted to get out of my place in a hurry.didnt seem odd to me at the time.so another 2 days pass and i finally take my jem out of the case only to find that the head stock was just hanging on and was on even more of an angle than it should have been.not happy jan.
.to make matters worse he had left town for work the day after returning it and wasnt due back for some time. .was only after another mate[yes he actually was]came round and told me what had happend then showed me a video of the gig.the dumb fuck[who used my axe]got all fuckd up on beer and god knows what else and climb up onto his rig then jumped of it into the crowd, who must have been thinking YOU IDIOT WE ARE NOT GOING TO CATCH YOU.well use your imagination as to what happend next. .yea it is a true story,it really did happen. ![]() |

I was sitting in a computer chair playing my Fender Strat, tipped over backwards, the headstock banged into a table, and put a big dent in the neck. It also hurt
![]() Luckily it's a one piece neck/headstock/fretboard, otherwise I'm sure it would have broken off.
Whether it's laughable or irrational, this is the path that ALL great men walk!
If there's a wall in our way, we'll destroy it! If there's no road, we'll pave it with our own hands! The magma in our hearts is blazing like flames! Who the hell do you think we are? |
