The neck is nice & flat, a thin/flat U. It's superbly comfortable. The only thing I would change on it would be to have 6100's on it, but other than that, the action is waaaaay low, an effortless to play on.

If you're not comfortable with doing it yourself, then definitely don't, but if you know someone who is, see if you can stand by & help while they do one in order to learn how.

yep. Electronics are cheap and honestly ought to be replaced anyways. its pretty easy if you know how to work a soldering iron. just do it one wire at a time
