Well, just thinking about which sounds I like really and what the ultimate "Swiss Army Guitar" should do... It simply seems like the ideal setup to me, offering the best of both worlds: standard humbucking tones of a super Strat and real neck Strat tones (plus very nice split tones).

Cheers

Dream 7? Buz's new S custom comes pretty close. It's practically perfect.

A custom 7 540PII would be pretty cool too.

HamBungler is just really niceHamBungler is just really nice
I'd take a neckthru 27'' scale Schecter Avenger 7 with Duncan Blackouts and a Kahler bridge. It would Probably be top wing Alder, Bottom wing mahogany and a maple neck with maple board and it would be finished in a crimson/black burst with quilt maple top.

I'm assuming he's going to want to mass produce these rack pies, and why not? I love racks, I love pies, so put them together and you have pie covered titties. - JJ

I love my Horizon 6er to death.. My Dream instrument would be the same but in a 7 with a lundgren in the bridge.

I can run with that.

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.

Kornagle is on a distinguished road
the first i'll have this one
a Ibanez archtop 7:
with a thin wizard 5pc maple/walnut neck-thru
a mahogany body, a kahler 7 string custom bridge (i don't like the production archtop ones) with a floyd locking nut on top, 2 seymour duncan blackout 7's (emg fitting) and an angled input jack (like JEMS)
a nice metallic yellow or green finish on the body, back of the neck and on the headstock with a pearloid ibanez logo and my logo with it called "Hybrid"
all fitted with an ebony fretboard and stainless steel frets, a beautiful white pearl inlay (dont really know what kind of inlay yet, probably some tribal stuff).... only a volume knob and a 3-way switch.
I'd like a truss rod cover plate in black as well as all the other cover plates, some fine gotoh tuners (stainless steel, as well as the knobs btw) and all hardware must be chrome
