Schecter 007 Blackjack.

just put a downpayment on one here locally from a place called Express music (they're the only non-guitar center Schecter Dealers in the area)...
they were able to orderthe 007 BlackJack..

I can't get used to the body shape, but that's highly subjective. Nice guitar though!

I have the 007 Elite. The only real difference (besides the inlays) is the pickup configuration. I fucking love it. For the money, it's pretty hard to beat. The mahogany body is heavier than shit (it's like wearing a tank), but it plays and sounds great. I'm sure yours will too.

Another difference--the Blackjack has a 26.5" scale, where the Elite is 25.5".

Polaris -- i could have gotten a C-7 Black jack far easier but i prefer the 007 shape.
Smueske - True enough. I wanted to get it, cause all i own or have owned were ibanez 7s.. while i love ibanez 7s and will buy more in the future, i want something a bit different. this looks like the ticket.

I would have gladly taken a hellraiser, but the 007 Blackjack was the only one that schecter had in stock at the moment. But i would be totally content with either of them.. im kinda glad i got the 007 cause im not sure if i like EMGs... but on the other hand i do love the sound of the new Nevermore CD...

Mine should be here around either this time next week or early the week after (12th-15th)

Congrats! I'd have a hard time with the upper fret access on that one. It's personal, but I'd rather have a bigger scooped out lower horn.
