Help deciding BRIDGE pup
Ok peeps, see if you can help me out here. I want to get a nice heavy non-fuzzy sound. A sound a lot of death metal bands play.
So far in mind I have Blaze 7 for neck pickup. Now for the bridge pickup... what do you think would give me a better edge in death metal type music, but also for pulling off lots of crisp sounding hammer ons, harmonics and occasional sweeps? An Evo 7 or a Tone 7? I dunno which one. =*( (bands I have in mind that I want to list are All Shall Perish, Rose Funeral, The Faceless, Beneath The Massacre..) |

Evo 7 100% it's a shredder/Rhythm monster pickup.

TZ7 isnt like the TZ for a 6 string. It really sucks - I would recommendthe Evo from dimarzio - but feel something like a lungdren (sp?) would be better matched to th emusic you play.

Lundgren M7 or BareKnuckles Nailbomb! If more harmonics needed ,zhe Miracle Man.
The Custom-7 from Seymour Duncan is another choice.Very thight ,responsive ,and chugs are well controlled.lacks on harmonics and some Dynamics IMHO. Duncan Jazz Bridge 7 could be interesting.Very Percussive ,well articulated and strong. |

I've got a Duncan Custom 7 in the bridge of my Carvin and it's not bad,
but I've got a BK nailbomb on the way. for what you describe you may want to check out a BK WarPig.
Can I be the devil on your shoulder?
