Where'd you get it from? I noticed a site on Ebay offering hellraiser for $700 with free shipping to australia. Pretty good deal if you ask me, I've been thinking about getting one for a while, but am getting an S7 instead. If I sell the S I might try the hellraiser out, or just get one anyway and sell it for an inflated (but still cheaper then you'd pay here) price.

I jumped on the hellraiser train a few months back and am glad I did. The hellraiser neck actually felt more comfortable than my 7620's neck. My fretting hand felt less strain in the thumb joint.

I love my Hellraiser, it's the best feeling guitar I've ever played and suits me perfectly.

Good stuff man, I've owned one and they're killer.
Personally the baritone scale, and emg's just kept it from being a keeper for me. I'd did however price up a Carvin DC727 for a reasonable price at www.musicsatmelbourne.com My next could be from O'Donnell Custom Guitars, handmade fine quality boutique Guitars fingers crossed for a Fusion 7 string soon \m/ |

Nope, I use 10-52s in standard on a 6-string, so the 70 just makes sense. Especially since I'm always changing between standard, Bb, A, drop-A, open-C, etc.

yea i tried 11-54's in E standard once. i originally had them for drp C, and just out of curiosity tuned it back up to E. i really liked how tight the low E felt and sounded

Congrats!
It is an awesome guitar. I have had mine for almost a year now and it only gets better day by day. The neck is very comfortable with good access to the upper register. You can shred like a bastard with it. It needs a bit of getting used to, and that's why a lot of Ibane... other players ( ) "hate" the neck. Yeah, the neck is a bit thicker than usual, but the shape of the neck is what counts. Very comfortable and fast!I use 10-60 on my Hellraiser. I hope to see some pics when you get yours

I left mine on my bandmate's house for about two weeks, and played a lot my Ibanez S-7420 meanwhile. When I got my Hellraiser back, I was afraid of finding the neck too big and having to get used to it again. When I took it from the gigbag and played, just said "welcome home"
