![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Damn it! (suggest a 7.. again..) so, as many of you know i've been wanting a schecter C7 for a while now (HR, BJ...one of the two). and then THIS shows up! ![]() i've emailed around for pricing. i think that the pickup selection in the ltd is pretty good, i can live with 1 vol 1 tone. i just have no idea how the neck would be, or the upper fret access - it is similar to an SG, and i've played enough SG's to know i can get up there. another thing is balance. long story short, does anyone have any experience with the viper 407? and could anyone say how it stacks up to the C7's? mahogany, 25.5 scale, cool inlays, good pickups... i need to try these 3 guitars!!! 3 cheers for free gear! ![]() ![]() ![]() | The problem with vipers is that they have a huge neck joint and the neck sits way way out from the body so when you play them the guitar has this overextended feel. The necks are wide and very flat for a large area on the back. I never thought these were very well executed for anything other than basic chords. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | how would you two compare them to the C-7 HR/BJ? I dont have fast access to any of these axes, so im getting opinions before i go out and play them. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | The Schecters have necks that are a bit more thick and rounded. The Schecters also feel a bit more compact but most are longer scale lengths. |
