You tune up? To what?
Whether it's laughable or irrational, this is the path that ALL great men walk!
If there's a wall in our way, we'll destroy it! If there's no road, we'll pave it with our own hands! The magma in our hearts is blazing like flames! Who the hell do you think we are? |

Nice.
The pickups that were on that when you got it look like they might be even more rusted than the pickups on my guitar. |

I think Im going to get a 3-way switch for this tomorrow. The duncans just dont sound that great split and the Ibanez switch kinda sucks. I dont really need the strange coil wiring on this guitar anyway.
All your shred are belong to us.

80% of what my band does is tapping and legato at 220+ bpm so I use really light strings. I used to use 11s and 10s at standard but now I use 9s and 9.5s with a single .008 for the G. Its a cool tuning for grind because there are lots of dissonant chords available but youll have to get used to the third up top instead of having the E there. If you sweep youll also find it weird that you end your sweeps on the second string instead of the first. Its a werd learning curve but it definitly works for me.
