This should give you an idea. Look at the size of the headstock on my Stars Soloist next to the SLS on Mike's CS Soloist.


The thing is monstrous. Anyone who wants one *needs* a leather strap to kill the neck dive.

I don't know, unfortunately. It was used when I bought it. The Steve Man over at the JCF was living in Tokyo at the time and posted about it after he saw it in a local shop. I was the first (and oddly only) person to PM him begging him to snag it on my behalf. The fact that the Japanese store sold it used is why I got it comparatively cheap. It must have been an Ikebe special run, because Jackson Stars to my knowledge has never produced the SL7-J2 as an 'official' model. Never seen another like it, though. From the specs, it is exactly like the J2 except for the pickups and control layout, which almost seem like a custom order due to the weird volume control position.
