Jackson custom shop

Can anyone please help me/ do you guys know:
How much is the usual price difference between a bolt on and a neckthrough...
and does anyone have any idea what the real price on this would be...
(rusty cooley's jackson)
(see through black stained flamed maple)
(neck through)
(reversed headstock)
(alder)
(ebony fretboard, sharkfins etc)
(same cutout)
was too hard to make a mockup
heres the orig

i know it makes sense just to get the rusty cooley sig
but if i have the extra $$ wouldnt mind a fully custom guitar

When did Rusty have that built for him anyway? Sorry, but i've always wanted to know that.

You're probably going to pay in the low $3k's for one. Mike will eventually see this and will be able to better tell you. He's an endorser.

ive been playing a lot of guitars, and a lot of sevens, and ive always preferred jackson...

before the EMG days (the neck PU was a single coil then), before theIbanez days, and before his first instructional... i forget exact years lemme go find out

No doubt, they're extremely nice guitars. Mike's Soloist 7 is one of the nicest guitars I've ever played.

However, if you want more bang for the buck, check out KXK Guitars - Custom Made in the USA. Mike will also tell you that the Sii-7 (Superstrat shape) is what he would be playing if he was looking to buy a custom guitar right now.

Not anymore!
I got a quote before their price increase for $3300 for a neck through, but then the dealer started fucking around so I just waited for awhile. Recently put in the EXACT same quote through the same dealer and it came back as $4600

The list price went from I think $5,500 before to almost $7,000 after

That sucks big time! Is there a reason behind this increase (valid or not) ?

No reason they did it just to be dicks. Much hypothesizing has occured on the JCF about it. I personally think it is to lower demand for the guitars so they can cut the wait time down from the 12-14 months it stands at.

a neckthrough at 3 grand would have been reasonable too
