That guitar looks sick in the video. Slightly offtpoic, I'm glad they re-recorded the vocals I really dig the new guys' voice, especiallythe heavy part at the end, nice.

I actually didn't realize the vocals were rerecorded until the end. He just sounds like Kelly to me.

I'm hoping the vocals will be very different on the new album.

with a thick brazilian accent...

this pisses me off... i decided YESTERDAY that i wanted to make my prog band cross into death metal (as opposed to Opeth who go the other way around, and Enslaved, which do the same for black metal)

and then i hear that part at the end of the song...

those vocals are fucking badass.....i know that's not kelly on the video, but kelly is such a ridiculous singer, i fucking love his voice. i want a singer like that for the new band i'm trying to start. i know kelly's looking for a new band, but since he's been kicked out of a couple bands (one of which, for being a diva), i'm not really thinking it's worth bothering to contact him.

Eh. I'm not nuts, if you like that style so be it, that's cool. I just think all those singers sound the same, and lame. I wish bands with great guitarists like a lot of power/prog/etc metal acts do, would pick a singer that wasn't exactly the same as every other band. I didn't watch that video, but I have the newest Outworld disc and I can't stand the vocals. All those bands have cheeseball singers like that, just ruins it for me. I wish it was instrumental.

Just my opinion. For me, so many of those power metal/prog metal type bands have insane guitarists, and settle for the typical falsetto cheeseballs, I just hate it. The Dream Theatre guy bothers me the most.

Warrell Dane, Rob Halford, etc those guys have high voices but a distinct cool sound, with a lot of character. I could name about 100 bands that all sound like they have the same singer. I understand you could say the same thing about death metal growler types, but that stuff isn't so overbearing that I can choose to ignore it if need be. I'm just tired of the fact every time a badass guitar master type gets a band, he brings some cornball Rhapsody-type wuss with him to sing.

Agree to disagree i guess.

That singer is so cheesy. I watched this video through the first verse and gave up. The riffs were boring and the singing was painfully outdated. D-
