Lol I hear ya. My spalted UV body is gonna sit neckless for a while more. Paid for the neck from CW in late January, Id be surprised if I see it before the holiday season at the end of '07.

Looks interesting... I've never been a fan of the 3 humbucker combination. 2 humbuckers or 2 humbuckers and a single coil are coil, but the 3 humbucker thing just looks too crowded, I guess...

Little update on the pickup situation.
![]() ![]() X2N7 in the bridge, DS7 in the middle, and Blaze neck. Oustanding tone and tone possibilities. Ill work on the coil tapping possibilities this weekend. I was just dying to hear what the combo of the three would sound like before swapping out for push/push pots. I like the look - its all crazy with rails and poles! The cool part is that the DS7 in the middle sounds 95% like having second switchable bridge pickup in the same guitar. It reminds me of the old days when I had Nightswans with the Full Shred in the bridge and JB in the middle and I reversed the JB pole vs. screw position to make it sound like a second bridge. I can tell this wont be my last 3 humbucker guitar, Im getting addicted to the middle humbucker for sweeping. It has most of the authority of bridge pickup bite with just enough treble rolled off that the pick scrape isnt an issue.

I really don't mind the 3 hums. Imo, it looks "heavy".
It's just a config. that doesn't work on every guitar, that's all. I guess there is a personal taste issue as well. |

Ok that looks pretty cool. You need to get an X2N that has chrome blades though to match up with everything else
