F8Cking trussrod.
So i am working on my UV7BK today, and i realize that the tool i have to adjust the trussrod suddenly doesnt fit anymore. Now, i've used this same too to adjust it before and to adjust it on all my guitars. So i looked, and apparently the screw on the truss rod is too close to the wood for the tool to fit in between the rod and the wood... So what should i do...?
I'm tempted to go to a few music stores and see what 7 strings they all have in stock for trade :/ Edit: even more tempted to just ebay the thing and get the Rondo 7 string.. Bari 7 string hardtail does sound appealing right now... You know, i thought for a while too.. But i've noticed that my UV777PBK and RG570 are a lot better built... And i dunno, im really needing a change.
I dunno man, i'm still considering it. I thought it was the greatest guitar for a long time, but i dunno.. Both my other guitars now run circles around it... That, and i've been needing a hardtail for a while (All i've ever owned is floyds, you know). Plus, a baritone would be nice for playing some slightly downtuned stuff (Bb, A tuning)... God damn.. i dunno. |

400 or 500$.. Its had repairs on its neck (there was a crack in the headstock where it was dropped, but you can barely even see the hairline where it was repaired), and its got scalloped 21-24 frets...definately a player guitar.
