Affordable sevenstrings by ibanez

i have never liked ibanez six strings i have only played the low end models when i was younger. i want one really bad now like a S series but with a reverse headstock and an extended scale.

Does Ibanez make this type of guitar right off the shelf if not can i buy the parts and build one like this. Sorry i am a noob to ibanez the one thing I do like is the prestige necks i did play one with that recently

They only make the S 7320, they used to make the S 5407 and S 7420. Keep an eye out on ebay, the S 7420s show up every now and then. I love mine.

but what about the reverse headstock is that doable and also is it possible in extended scale

They never made reversed headstocks on those models, can't get them in extended scale either. You can always get a custom job.

urklvt has an S7420BP with a custom made 28 5/8" scale 24 fret neck on it.

There are tons of affordable 7s by Ibanez - provided you drop your requirement of reverse headstocks.

There are no S series guitars with reverse headstocks and I don't there there have been any extended scale S series 7-strings.

There are extended scale reverse headstock 7-string RGs, if you're completely set on the extended scale and reverse headstock.

There is only one 7-string S series currently being produced; the S7320. The other guitarist in my band has one and it's an excellent guitar. But it's got a normal headstock and is 25.5" scale.
