They are very nice and Im waiting on a B2. The prices are entirely inflated by the exchange rate. They are about as much as a nicer strat in the Uk apprently.

Ah, it may be a bolt on, but he doesn't actually make neck throughs, again, it's a tone thing. Trust me, there's a reason for everything he does. And most of that goes on the woods and materials.

The reason for this post is bought to you by dough (blackmachine guy, who build ALL the guitars himself) letting me play his two babies which are frankly out of this world. He has a fanned 8 he built for himself, and a 6, and both were simply god like. The amount of note definition on the 8 9which has sound chambers) is simply godlike.

Seriously, if any of you guys are considering a guitar and have the cash, it's more than worth it, it's like listening to jesus if he was a guitar. and alive. and real.

What this one??

Hmmm, I'd have to disagree with this. I emailed him a while back about doing a version of my old Ergo 9 and he flat out said no because it would mean too much work.

He knows what he wants to do, if what you want isn't in line with that he probably won't do it. Not hating because what he does looks to be very good but that is my (small) experience, if he's changed his mind on that then I'm sure he'll attract more customers.

Yeah, I had a great time messing about with the Blackmachines yesterday.

Because we were 3/4 of the way through rehearsal and things were sounding good, to then plug the guitars into my rig and hear the difference of a totally handbuilt instrument was a major eye-opener.

It made me die a little on the inside to go back to rehearsal and feel like our guitar tones were rubbish, considering the 1000's of pounds worth of rigs that James & I are running

Well, I know at the London Guitar show he'd just taken delivery of custom built 10 string pick-up, so who knows what devilish schemes he has in mind.

That's cool, thing is his ethos is that he builds what he builds with the knowledge that he has, and as long as he does that to the highest quality then the customers will always be there. And so far he has been right

It ould happen but not very likely for the same reason that he has a hard time with floyds. All the electronics might require extra body depth which is something he doesn't do.

And by "in an instant" you mean put a deposit down and wait a year right?
