Nice score, Nick. That is a beautiful guitar. Congrats on the USA Jackson too.

Those are killer guitars, congrats Nick! I like the look of the binding on those more than I do on a UV, it just looks so "right" on that guitar. Color me jealous!

This is the one guitar I have seen where whenever one gets one people get really angry and every post is about how much people hate them. I know its joking but seriously...

Haha, you got that with your SRC7 too? Honestly I don't blame 'em, really is a special guitar.

Have you noticed that the string spacing on that guitar is more like an Ibanez?

Its not as wide as the spacing on the 6 string SRC. (0s RGs have really wide spacing and the SRC7 is wide but not super wide. I like the feel but I still feel wholly comfortable on an RG7. Its probably just the value difference though.

The string spacing seems narrower than on the SC607.

It might be but the baritone is also using heavier strings that need more space to vibrate. Is it actually wider by measurement, or does it just feel wider because of the strings and the neck shape?

Awwww dude!!! I can't begin to tell you just how fucking jealous I am! That guitar is sweet. I've always looked at the Carpenter models but don't want EMG's and this guitar fits the bill nicely. That's some awesome pearl binding, you're right... far nicer than plastic binding. What's the scale length 25.5"? Congrats man, you sure are a lucky dude.
