new 7 string V design

dpm and i are going to throw this guy together by the end of the year -

it's going to simply ooze metal - in fact it's going to be coated with it.....

specs are - padouk body with bolton birdseye neck and fingerboard - abm bridges - emg 81-7 pickup - graphite reinforced neck gotoh mini 510 tuners - etc

heres some picks - and the last pick is a sample of the finish we are getting done.

feel free to give me your opinions

Nice, and metal to boot...my only gripe is where the headstock sweeps into the neck, I'm not fond of how the low B is left there exposed...no biggy though...kinda like the Parker, good luck!

yeah it is a bit parkerish isn't it! - but i kind of like the slimness and consistancy with the rest of the instruments contours.

I really like the body! I think it would be cool, if the headstock was a mirrored design of the body. Love the metallic!

I'm still juggling the idea of an arrow headstock - but I consider it important to keep the strings straight in line -

We are probably going to sell these as a custom order by the way - cool feature is that you choose what type of metal you want it coated in - anything from bronze to marine rust!

thanks BTW

looks cool, but i would flip the body so the longer horn is on the bottom, but thats just my taste. i would also make it headless, but again thats just me.
