So I'm having this amazing gear year. I started off by swapping my whole amp rig (Vetta) for a rack with plenty of blinking lights (Axe Fx) and have finally found contentment with my tone. Next came my S7320, which for what I paid for it absolutely amazed me.

Then, came the best surprise of all. After posting around online for years in search of one, I finally found an Ibanez RG2027, and this time I had cash. I just sent payment today. I am so excited. This guitar is like the Holy Grail of guitars for me. Back a few years ago I ended up ordering a JP7 because I couldn't find a 2027. The whole time I owned it I wished it was something else. Now, my guitars dreams have come true.

Don't worry, pics will be coming. In fact, once the latest arrives I'll have to do a group shot with my new S, my old S, and my new rack.

I hate to maybe worry you, but its not safe until its in your hands..

I WAS thinking I was finally content with a final 6 string to end all 6 strings, my red flamed top RGT.. Paid for it, but It might be lost in the mail now, SOO pissed, last 6 string I was ever going to order in my life! and its lost possibly with tracking not updated since April 11th.

Hopefully you'll have better luck than me though.

Are you going to run the piezos through your AxeFx? Or are you going to use a seperate rig?

I'm thinking I may run it into the Axe Fx but I've got to sit down and plot out the proper chain. The only downside right now is that I'm using the internal loop for feeding my poweramp so I may have to get creative.

GAS has worn off and my honeymoon with the Axe Fx either hasn't worn off or it truly IS that cool. I still get excited just turning it on.

That's awesome. The same thing happened to me about the BK. I finally found a great one through Rich. The one he had listed was cool but the one I got was so much better.
