Should I refinish?

I was thinking about how beat my white 7620 is. Since I refinished it white about 5 years ago, it has become this

The colors don't look bad but I can understand wanting to refinish it because of all the chips if its something that bothers you... I vote white again minus the "custom" emblem.

Oh and maybe a white headstock too...

I took the Custom emblem off shortly after those pics and bought some sandpaper as well because I planned on doing it for sure.

I guess im just kinda undecided right at the moment.

It's my first seven. I've had it for 9 years. I want to take care of it.

The face is still really clean... I stripped both of my 7620s down and swirled them about a week ago. I haven't reassembled them because I wasn't nearly satisfied with the final product and would like to continue to try new things while swirling... I'm going to attempt both guitars again this weekend and see how it goes... the moral of the story is... its really hard to make it look nice and if you swirled it would you do it yourself or send it to somebody else?

Just strip the paint and oil it... leave it natural.

you can always repaint it some other time.

It got muchos character,and i kinda' like the custom logo now i'm used to seeing it there too.

If you re-finish it you'll lose all those memories and stuff.

My vote is for a refinish.

Nothing wrong with character but there's a certain sense of accomplishment that comes with a job well done.
