7 strings builders

For first I apologize: I'm sure that this has been already listed somewhere around here, but I didn't find it so I'm gonna ask again:

Any of u can suggest me some good 7 strings builder?

LGM, which was cool for me, is only into repainting stuf actually..too bad.

Well, what are you looking for in a guitar? There's KxK in the US, Ran in Poland, and any number of luthiers. What kind of budget are you working with?

About the first question: what u mean?
Do u mean in terms of sound or what?

Well, sound, specs, etc. Some shops won't offer certain things, like stainless steel frets, etc. Do you have a body shape in mind? Ran might be out of your price range, KxK would probably do nicely, although I don't know what import fees and shit would be like, might make it not worth your while. Are there no luthiers in Spain? Search for Oni guitars around here too, Dan posts here and his work is pure sex. Same with Mike Sherman.

Yeah I have in mind everything I'd like, but my experience is just related to "industrial" manufactured guitars. I'll check for sure the names u gave me, and thanks for the immediate reply - did u win the "fastest reply award" lately?

And btw, "pure sex" was a cool expression. hehe

Oh...that could worth a nominee for "Most Upsetting Thing 2007". Think about it.
I was checkin RAN website. They do superb guitars, just wondering about how those instruments sound.

I think someone around here might have a Ran, or might have one on the way. They're really nice apparently, but I don't know if it was a language barrier thing when I was talking to him, but before I was finished listing my specs I was up to like $4000 US. Other people say his prices are reasonable, I guess it just depends what you want.

I've been looking at getting a custom made too. I was looking at EKG Guitars that I saw advertised over at jemsite forums but I haven't really heard much about them from this site. Anyone had any experience dealing with Eddie?

Shannon had an 8 string built by EKG. Could search up his posts, he sold it, I don't remember if it was a quality thing or just not digging an 8 string.
