It is finally here! (Warning, non 56k material)

Well, I ordered a little present for myself in January, and it finally arrived. Some of you might remember what it is, but let's see what it is

I guess this is a bit too easy

What do we have here? A case?

Yep, it is definetly a case... or a carrot

Let's see what do we have inside..

That's right, my brand spanking new Carvin DC727 in Pearl White. This colour is just awesome. It goes from gold, to white, to blue. Beautiful! This is one of those colours you need to see live.

Birdseye maple, 6100 frets and no inlays.

Sperzel locking tuners

How high can I go? All the way The neck is just awesome, ridiculously easy to play.

I'll post a better review later, but AWESOME will do for now

Very pretty.

Division - American metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on MySpace, and Soundclick, too.

Gorgeous guitar man Congrats dude!!!!

Why did you decide on the painted neck instead of the normal Carvin tung-oiled neck ?
I personally don't find a painted neck a problem at all but if i had the tung-oil option i think i'd have to try it.

Gotta' love that Pearl White finish too

Thanks guys!

I have been having a blast with this thing! This guitar can do pretty much everything! I have been playing stuff from Morbid Angel to Pink Floyd with this thing. A very versatile guitar, which was exactly what I wanted.

It has been a while since I had a guitar with coil split's, so I have been enjoying that part of this guitar a lot.

I think I propably will change the bridge PU to a Duncan JB in the future, but I think I will keep the stock neck pickup.

The neck feels great! It is not as thin as a Wizard, but not as thick as the neck on a Hellraiser. It feels awesome. And the upper fret access allows you to play the highest frets with no problems whatsoever.

The body is uber-comfortable as well. Feels like a part of your body, maybe that's why wanking with this guitar feels so natural, I mean shredding...

Thanks again guys!
