Hey there guys, i was posting my s7320 & s7420 in another thread and someone mentioned that i need to get a 540s7, i didnt even know there was one untill a few weeks ago, someone also pointed out that there was one on the bay and then ryan chimed in and said if i bought if for the bin price he was gonna beat me, which got me to thinkin, i wasnt planning on getting a 540 right away, but i had no idea what a good asking price was for one, i also have looked at some other 7's not sure what a good asking price is, now i just know how to shred on a guitar and how to work on them , i dont know what model of what guitar ibanez built in 19xx in what month in what colors ect, i know some of you do though and i often see people asking what a good price is and noob's often ask what a good price is, most of us know what the common 7's go for, but it might not be a bad idea to maybe list what some of you would consider a good price for some of the 7's out there just as a small referance, just something to think about, 7 string blue book if you will

I believe there IS a blue book for guitars.

There's a thread around here with a list of every single seven in production we're aware of, and www.jemsite.com has a list of all production Ibanez sevens, with specs.

Punctuation wouldn't go a miss.

As said there are alot of useful resources on Jemsite, but if you want more up-to-date prices then just look around the auctions here, there, ebay, wherever.

600-800 is fair for a 540S7 depending on condition. I would go higher for a red which I have never seen in person. Anything less than that is a pretty good bargain if its in good shape.

If its the same one i've seen, its really out of touch on the price of 7 strings. i remember them saying UV's were worth like 700-800$ mint.
