But it died with dignity, like a true rockstar
, but I'm truly regretful now, the new RG's are nothing compared to these, the construction and finishes were only the best, like getting a Prestige now but even better, I'm going to try and get another one of this babies... |

I'm going to be honest, when this guitar first fall in my hands was the year 2001 I was it's second owner but the original owner use to play with me in an old band I had back then and he told me that he had the guitar for almost 12 years, so I don't know maybe the thing he was smoking make him bullshit about it LOL!! but trust me I'm just selling it the same way it was sell to me and anyway I don't really care when I only paid $100.00 for it.
![]() I've always had this question, why the early RG's 7 were really high in price compared to the later RG's? anyone know? Last edited by Sullen; 04-06-2007 at 05:12 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Dude, that guitar has an All Access Neck Joint, there's no way that guitar is from 89.
98 I would believe. Still, sorry to see it go. ![]() |

Shit, the UV didn't exist till 1990. There's no way that guitar is from 1989 at all.

Real thanks to everybody for clearing that out to me, I was living a lie all this years
but that kind of things happen all the time. Well I believe this is first production of the RG7421's but not sure what year. I was having a look @ Jemsite and it says they were manufactured in the late 90's...That guitar is in three pieces now but glued together. The headstock is glued to the neck so it could stayed in place for having it in one piece around. The body not a word about that, I took all the working hardware out to save it for future necessities. Have a spare EMG-707 laying around and the other one is going to the S'7, the hardware on this guitar is superior to the hardware in the newer IBZ's so I'm thinking on replacing some stuff from the S with these parts, don't really know what to do But I'll work something out...Last edited by Sullen; 04-06-2007 at 07:35 AM.
