Pretty sweet. I aleays liked them but just having 6 strings turned me off from buying one. If they came out with a 7 I would be all over that in a heartbeat!

Jerry Cantrell is the man!

I want a ziploc rain coat. zepp88

Munky's been seen with a few of this spec model with different finishes of late.
I'm sure i saw a pic of JD playing a guitar during a show the other day too.

That's why i think the new Apex's suck.
They used to actually use stock K7's(although they had quite a lot of LACS K7's too),like the ones you could buy,but you'll never see Munky use either of those new Apex models.
You can guarantee that this one is an LACS and nothing like the Apex2 and the Apex1 is 'modelled on' his black Cancer inlay guitar, but in reality nothing like it.
I'd be shocked as fuck if we ever see him use an Apex1 because he's said previously that he doesn't like the Edge-Pro,and it hasn't got a K7 neck either.

Preach it man, no shit! Exactly what I was thinking as well.

Dave knows the score. Artists rarely use thier actual production models, and I was surprised to both Head and Munky actually using what appeared to be stock K7's, but I think you're right.

Munky ain't gettin down with no Indo/Korean-made Apex.

Please be kind to snakes. They can't help it.

Nope. Munky's never really touched a stock K7, even when they were all MIJ. Now that they're MIJ for the 1, MII for the 2, he really won't touch them.

Head used to be seen playing the stock K7 though, I believe.

Doesn't Ibanez get that their Edge Pro isn't as good as the Lo Pro when all of their endorsers don't want the EP's on their guitars?

Sure is a nice JS1200 ya got there, Satch. What's that on there? A Lo Pro?

I've been saying this since they introduced the EdgePro.
The only endorsee guitars you really see with the EdgePro are the newer endorsees who are grateful for their sponsorship and don't want to be too demanding.
Anyone who's in the position to do so seems to demands a Lo-Pro.
That's why i thought it was so cool that when Ibanez offered them a signature model,Munky and Head, despite the fact that Ibanez had just introduced a new trem, had the conviction to insist on what they knew to be a great trem.
Some people seem to get on with them but to be perfectly honest i didn't at all.
Apart from the fact that i don't think they work as well as the Lo-Pro i also think they look very un 'Professional'.
I just think the Lo-Pro is an awesome trem, the best i've ever used, and it looks so purposeful and cool too.

Head is the only one that i've seen play a K7 on a live dvd I have. Even back when the 7620 came out, he had a black one and a royal blue one (Woodstock '99). I like his tone alot on the live dvd I have.
