Hipshot Bridges

Has anyone replaced their stock Ibanez RG7421/RG7321/RG7621 bridge with one of the hipshot bridges?

Is it a direct replacement or do you have to modify the body for drill points etc? Also are the dimensions compatible with the body and old ibanez bridge.

from what I've heard it's not a direct replacement, you would have to expoxy the old holes and drill out fresh holes for it.

You'd have to drill 4 additional holes for the hipshot and fill the other ones if you wanted.

bleh - screw that - just going to polish the stock ibby bridge and install dimarzio pups.

Id say try it.Those bridges look nice and like the rounded edges.

I think only authentic Flyod Rose stuff is directly replaceable with most Ibanez Trems.

sombody would make a killing if they came out with a line of direct replacement trems for Ibanez's specifically..

Hipshot Bridges
