Hi folks, I'm getting an S7320 pretty soon, but I do like the Prestige 24 fret neck from the RG1527, I'm planning on swap the neck of the S for the Prestige of the RG. My two questions are: Is this possible? the neck will fit without any problem if anybody know? and the other question is: Does somebody know how and where to buy this neck separate? that's all for now, thanks

You'd have to mod the neck pocket, since the S7320 is 22 frets and the RG is 24. In fact, given the neck PU position, it may not actually be possible without losing the neck PU.
Ibby replacement necks are virtually impossible to buy... |

NegaTiveXero is correct, it won't work. The only way to get 24 frets without losing the neck pickup is to do what urklvt did on his S7420 and have a custom 28 5/8" scale neck made.

Thanks, I guess I'll ask the luthier of my area to make a neck for me according to the Prestige dimensions in a longer scale.

Actually there are two other options:
1. Get a 25.5" scale 7 string fretboard with 24 frets and replace the existing fretboard. 2. Get a 24 fret 25.5" scale replacement neck made. Both options will mean you'll have to reposition the neck pickup though, as the extra two frets will hang over it's position. To be honest I'd say it's not worth it, just stick with 22 frets. |

i wouldnt even worry about trying this, to spend 700 bucks on a guitar and turn around and have to do work to it, not a great plan, if anything, i'd find a prestige neck and have an s body made for you, probably looking at alot less money, with the hardward and pups, you might break even, but you'll get excatly what you want
