They're comfy. But I still find a .074 a tad loose for Bb.

lol

I use 9-54's for Bb. It feels like i can manipulate the strings better.
I know Meshuggah uses 9-52 for Bb... Im not the only one .. I think Bulb likes uber light strings too..

Pretty much every one that rules does.

I believe Christian Olde wolbers is using 10-52 for drop-A. I just cant believe how you can ever find that comfortable. 9-68 is perfect for standard A, it works extremly well for Standard B too. (and remember that my hellraiser has the 26.5 scale-length.)

Oh and... GO SWEDEN!

so the 9-68 works just fine in standard-tuning on a 26.5" guitar?
do you happen to know what difference (how much difference) it makes as opposed to the same gauge and tuning on a 25.5" guitar?

I have no Idea. But the tension should be a bit less on a 25.5 scale, shouldnt it? I tried 9-60 a while back and I just couldnt stand it. The string was waaay to loose for my liking. But 68 on 25.5 in B-standard would probably be more like a 68 on 26.5 in A-standard. Or that is at least what I think. Anyway, try it out, it pwns.

yea, I have 9-68 Elixirs on my 7620 right now and its cool (see other thread). I'm just asking because my upcoming custom will be 26.5" and Elixir dont make any gauges in between 68 and 56 or so
