Whose axe is this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...330696069&rd=1

Not to plug but I just saw this come up and I thought maybe someone here might want to scope out an ultra high quality axe. I've never seen a Carvin generate this much interest (which is only 8 bids lol). This just makes me even more impatient for mine to arrive.

Retailed for $1166 and the reserve is at $450, which has obviously been met. A helluva bargain that I'd snatch up if I wasn't already tied up in getting my new amp.

Just further proof that Carvins have terrible resale value. If you're thinking of buying one, plan to hang onto it. If it's not right for you, send it back. You'll be lucky to get your money back selling it privately.

The auction is not over yet, bro. We don't know what the final bid will be.
I do agree that used Carvin's do not fetch anywhere near what they should, though.
I am guessing that the vast majority of Carvin owners keep their guitars not because of the low resale value, but because they are simply very satisfied and do not want to part with it.

Carvins are nice, and they are very cheap. If that guitar said Jackson on it, it would be at double the price now though. Not enough people have actually played one; that kills their resale value.

It'll go up....but either way I'm the high bidder for now. Hopefully it doesn't go too high. I'll go to 800 if I absolutely have to, but I'd rather see it end at around 7.

If it goes past $1000, it's god's way of telling you to buy my 7620 instead.

Everybody always opts for the 24 pole peice pips on their Carvin.
Then they sell it 12 months later.

Wonder if that pip might be the problem..

5 minutes 19 seconds, and maxthedogg is the high bidder. Josh, do something.

Yikes. Jumped up to $835 in the final five minutes, mostly in the final 15 seconds. These ebay snipers take this stuff seriously.

Wow, a Carvin actually sold for what it's worth. TAKE THAT!

I have to admit I've been guilty of sniping like that. The last few seconds are the most critical.
