You have a lot of suppositions in that statement, there, friend.

1. Where'd you hear these things about the DS7? It's noisy, but outside of that, it sounds fantastic. I'd question your sources.

2. You "think it would sound way too trebly" with the bar facing the bridge? Having not played one, that's quite a statement. Let me assure you, it sounds fine either way, and not too "trebly" facing the bridge. It doesn't even sound MORE trebly than the bar facing the neck - it just sounds more 'clear'. With the bar towards the neck, it sounds 'warmer' and fatter, but the basic EQ structure is the same either way. I have the pickup... I know.


Besides, don't we alaready have a thread about the new JP7? This one seems sorta superfluous.
