Thoughts on the Dean ML-x 7?

Hey guys!

I've been offered an ML-x 7 in exchange for a bass amp I have (I'm selling my bass amp because I'm moving, but willing to trade for a guitar since that will fit on the train).

Any thoughts from anyone who's owned one? I've had a bit of trouble looking for information on it.

Deans in general (with the exception of high end models) are crap because they're made so poorly. You'd probably find it broken when you got off the train..

Played one for an hour or so and it fely cheap. VERY cheap. Frets were bad, pickups sucked (through Peavey 6505+ for reference), wouldn't stay in tune, neck was uncomfortable (though that's only an opinion) and it had a few finish flaws.

And I'm not a Dean hater either. Even with the Korean models. I played an RC7X once that was so good that I almost left the store with it (until the owner brought out the RG1527 that was in the back storage).
