well its that bimonthly setup restringing cleany guitar time people so i thought id do a picstory for all my friends here at SS.org
First Some Music ![]() The Tools ![]() The Subject ![]() Used A Rubber as a trem block because i couldnt find that rubber coaster i usually use ![]() ![]() Put the old strings in order on the floor should a new string break ![]() Thats a dirty fretboard ![]() ![]() ![]() The rubber gayed out and broke on me !!! ![]() ![]() And Sink Goes The Trem so i untensed the springs ![]() tape up that board ....yes i do overkill on this part ![]() nobody likes steel wool on their pickups last few frets ae done individually because the tape is too thick ![]() Grab That 0000 grade steel wool and get rubbin ![]() frets 1-4 steel wooled ![]() man this is soo tiring time for a break ![]() quick look on ss.org ![]() breaks over bk to work ![]() but first a change of music \m/!! ![]() Frets all shinyed up ![]() ![]() Get lem-oiling that board ![]() thats purdy ![]() headstocks lookin dirty as hell ![]() well soon remedy that ![]() the finished product ![]() polish that body ![]() new string time ![]() stretch em out and set er up Ready for some shredding!!! ![]() i hate doing setups but the finished guitar is always worth it

1.) www.juststrings.com - seriously, you owe it to yourself to run an Elixir .56 with those Elixirs.
![]() 2.) that's actually not QUITE perfect trem angle - the knife edge, not the top of the trem, should be parallel with the top of the guitar body. Dig around www.ibanezrules.com a bit for the tech section. 3.) purdy. ![]()

when I saw the body only at first I thought it was a 7620 with EMG's then I saw the headstock then said ohhhh its a 1527

Nice job, that fretboard looks sexy. I did that recently to all my guitars too, Rich sent me loads and loads of D'Addario strings and I used some of Eric's Guitars Uber-Magical guitar polish and fretboard oil, the stuff works awesome. ![]() Nice guitar too. I love those 1527s and I like how you put EMGs in it too. Cool picstory. ![]() |

well to be honest i reall y cant give a good review because im only playing trhrougha lil fender 30 watt but they sound pretty good to my ears not so good for that midsy virtuoso stuff but they suffice
