First 7 on its way soon
I just won an ebay auction for my first seven string
 and yes, I know you're supposed to try a guitar out before you buy it, but the only place in my whole state where I've ever seen a seven closed a while ago, and I tried and liked the six string version. I should have it in a week or two, so I'll make a (an?) NGD thread then, but for now, here's a spoiler picture copied from the listing:

You're not "supposed to" try a guitar before you buy. There's no authoritative unit that willl come to your house and berate you for not doing that, but it *is* recommended.
Aside from that you made a good choice anyway.
