Looking at buying this Ibanex 1527 w/ Dimarzio....Good price?
Hey guys,
I'm looking to pick up my first 7-String and I have come across this ad on kijiji: Ibanez 1527 Prestige 7 string guitar - Guelph Musical Instruments For Sale - Kijiji Guelph Canada. I researched the guitar and the main complaint was muddy pickups, however, this has a Dimarzio installed. The reviews I'm finding online have different price ranges. Do you guys think this is a reasonable price? |

Dont know how much they go for where you are but for me this would be a no brainer. Great guitar and you wouldnt need to buy the new pick ups ( which I did).
Very playable gitfiddle. What doesn't kill you just really, really hurts you. |

Go for it. It looks a like a good score for 750. The 1527 I played was rad. This comes with a good bridge pu as well. Maybe you could buy it and change the neck pu to another yellow one. IMO, it would look killer.

Get it, dude. I've played a bunch and I can tell you that $750 is a steal.

for this part of the world, this guitar is DIRT cheap. for this price and area usually it's a modified 7321 or S7320 that would go for this price. now if you're really averse to trems then this is a no go but other than that I don't see any reason to not get this, especially at that price

I have an RG1527 and I absolutely love it! I scored mine at a sick price of $500, and I replaced the pickups. I would go for it, man. It's a killer guitar!

There's also another person on this forum selling a RG1527 with upgraded Dimarzio Neck and Bridge pickup for $750... I was going to pick that up before but I found something cheaper. I think he still has it...
