RG 7420 mod

Ssssssso. I bought an rg 7420 and I already had in mind that I'm gonna put an EMG 81-7 to bridge pickup for it. I also the hated the finish of the guitar because there were these "humppahileet" (as we call them here in finland) on it. (sorry, I don't know the right word for the finish but it was black and there was this some sort of glitter all over it) And 'cause there's not gonna be a neck pickup on the guitar I filled the hole where the neck pickup should be. Then I went to store near me and bought this green hammer varnish (not sure about the right word for this either

) and painted the guitar with it. The finish is melted plastic wrap folio finish as my friend put it

If it looks horrible then keep in mind that this is the very first time I try to do something like this.

the guitar isn't finished yet. I'm gonna post some pictures of it when it is!

seems like that would have some weird texture to it, but other than that, I am loving the color! Hope it turns out as nice as I hope it will

Its alright

Its just stupid how when I did similar to my kelly, People were like "OMG THATS HORRIBLE" and then you do it to an Ibanez, Still not consistant texture finish (some parts are textured, some aren't) and people are like "OMG THATS AMAZING".. Just shows the Shape bias in here o-O

Real unique. I always thought a grey-hammered-metal finish would be cool..

Cool finish, I'd like it darker though, some kind of dark textured green would look badass!
