NGD: Greenburst Carvin DC727 (Pic overload!)

Specs:

-5 piece walnut neck with maple stripes
-Tung oil finish on the neck
-Alder wings
-4+3 pointed headstock
-Ebony fingerboard
-Stainless steel jumbo frets
-Standard 14" fretboard radius
-Black hardware
-String saver saddles
-Greenburst finish

PICS!!

Just got it today so I can't really provide an in depth review just yet. It sounds fantastic on cleans, and I already love the coil splitters on it. Overall the guitar has a nice bright punchy tone without being shrill which is exactly what I was going for. Everything feels very high quality from the fretwork to the finish and setup!

That's a very unique axe man. Nice spec choices.
I was expecting another gator-burst type finish when I seen the thread title lol.

nice...congrats

I always thought Cliff getting killed instead of Lars was like John Lennon getting killed instead of Yoko - MJS

how many guitars are enough? ...just one or two more!

Nice! Hope you enjoy! My second DC 700 should be here in a few weeks and I'm pumped. Did you get the 14 inch or 20 inch radius? I love my Carvin! For the price point they can't be beat.

Thanks everyone! I'm really satisfied with how everything came out on it, I already know my next guitar will be a Carvin as well (this was my first!).

I went for the 14" raduis. I think 20" would be too flat for me... this feels just right! It's very true what people have said about the necks feeling more like an Ibanez than a Schecter, it definitely has a flatter feel to it than I was expecting.

Carvin's keep looking sexier and sexier !

I just don't like how they transition the non-painted neck heel area to the body... yuck.
