First NGD: Schecter Hellraiser C-7(pics)

I've been waiting for this day to come since like 6-7 months! And it's finally here, Schecter Hellraiser C-7!

Construction/Scale: Set-Neck w/ Ultra Access /26.5"
Body: Mahogany
Neck/Fingerboard: 3-pc. Mahogany/ Rosewood
Frets: 24 X-Jumbo
Inlays: Abalone "Gothic Cross"
Pickups: EMG 707's
Electronics: Vol/Vol/Tone/3-way
Bridge: TonePros TOM w/ thru-body
Binding: Black Pearl
Tuners: Grover
Hardware: Black
Color: Gloss Black (BLK), Black Cherry (BCH)

Yeah I'm not a photographer lol

I've got to tell you guys this thing plays like a beast! high fret access is really really good and the neck suits my needs perfectly. The coil tapping is sweet! These EMG's have a killer sound! The low riffs sound so good and the leads sound fantastic! I could've not asked for a better guitar than this. I'm glad this is my first seven. I've had a dilemma between this and the LTD H-1007, both are great, but the LTD wasn't available then and they told me I need to wait like 8 months for it.

I'll post a video of it later
EDIT: Here's the video sorry for the sloppy playing, i was really tired at the moment.

I have personally always loved the look, feel and sound of a Schecter! Especially the Hellraiser and the Blackjack series!

I've never played the 7 string version, I hope you love it! Shred on!

Congrats, btw

Congrats! I have black Hellraiser C-7 and ATX C-1. Great guitars. Welcome to the Schecter club
Thick necks, but once you get used to them, they're killer.

Hell of a guitar for the first seven!

Congrats I hope it serves your well!

Planning any mods to it? Most people here would say pickup swap is needed but i'd be ok with the EMG's, they aren't amazing but people here underrate them a bit

I think i'm going to stick with the EMG's, let's see how things will go. I really don't notice any of the muddiness of the EMG 707's that people has been talking about. But I really love the sound of it serves my tech-death needs perfectly. Plus on that coil-tap sound too which I really like!

I don't think they're muddy at all. Very clear sounding actually.

My main gripe with EMG's, are that they sound very cold and plain. I kept mine.
